Although Florence is truely rich in art and history, the city also offers a wide variety of opportunities for entertainment, with many clubs, pubs and discos. Your nights in Florence can be spent inside a club but also in the streets, simply enjoying the marvellous monuments illuminated by the moon, or walking through the streets observing street artists who sing and preform. Don't forget to take in the beautiful view of Florence by night from Piazzale Michelangelo: you'll fall in love!!

WHERE TO GO

Clubs and pubs are everywhere in the city centre. Around the Cathedral and in other famous squares of the city you can find many small places to have a beer or a glass of the best Chianti wine. Most of them are Irish pubs but, don't worry, there are plenty of English, American, and even Spanish options. If you want to taste Tuscan specialities you absolutely must spend a evening in an Enoteca. In the centre there are even some little discos, don't worry about dress codes, you can enter anywhere without a problem. If you don't want to close yourself in a pub, go for a walk under the stars and listen to the street musicians... In Florence we have a few different outdoor music scenes: Ken and Alice perform international music between the Loggia dei Lanzi and the Uffizi; Claudio, known as “Orzo,” plays Italian songs on the Ponte Vecchio, while Balkan music can be enjoyed in Piazza della Repubblica! EVENTS

During the winter you can enjoy skating on ice in Parterre in Piazza della Libertà open also in the evening. During late Spring and all Summer when nights are quite warm, there are events in every square of the town, such as concerts, with always have a bar at hand for easy refreshment. In piazza S.S. Annunziata and in piazza S. Ambrogio there are summer spaces with concerts jazz, ethnic music and installation video. In Rime Rampanti you will find a very classic summer space, right under the Piazzale Michelangelo!! Here you will have a plethora of choices: festival of ethnic music, classical music, poetry readings and... why not? A dinner under the stars! If you prefer a nightime swim, don't miss the swimming pool of Pavoniere in the Park of the Cascine: open at night and free!
